7th Season
2003 - 2004 productions and dates:
Brewing Trouble
Take a tour of Aspen (or at least a facsimile there of)
for the annual best beer festival. Will anybody be able to beat last year's
brewmaster, Harry Hops, long renown for his beer and long reviled for his
antics? Help us round up the usual suspects while dining on appetizers,
enjoying drinks and dessert, and cure what ALES you at this fall FUNdraiser!
September 2003
Shaft, or the Tortoisiad
by David Guaspari
This is Heritage's sixth turn as part of the annual Pittsburgh
New Works Festival

Rumors
by Neil Simon
Neil Simon, the master of comedy, has put together another
winner: In an effort not to spread gossip, a bunch of party-goers dreams
up a littany of rumors to explain why the host has shot himself in the
ear! It's miscommunication leading to hilarity, as the guests tell tall
tales in an effort to guess the truth!
October 2003
Holiday Dinner Theater
This family-friendly show offers
lots of opportunities for everyone to take part in a production. Our second-annual
holiday fundraiser will combine skits and short plays with variety acts
(song & dance, juggling, etc.).
We welcome everyone in the community to partake of dinner and some holiday
cheer, either by performing, helping with the production, or just by attending
the show!

Bus Stop
by William Inge
A greasy spoon diner is the setting for this classic story
of love and life. A cowboy loves a nightclub singer and follows her to
the diner. A traveling professor comes breezing in, as does the town sheriff.
The waitresses keep the coffee piping hot as the stories and heartaches
of these interesting men and women come spilling out, one after the other.
As a snowstorm rages outside, the men and women at the Bus Stop keep warm
inside, safe with their coffee, their stories, and their dreams.

West Side Story
by Arthur Laurents, Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein
The timeless classic
of Romeo and Juliet retold in musical form, West Side Story brings together
two star-crossed lovers, Maria and Tony, from different ethnic backgrounds,
whose friends and family members fight in rival gangs. Join us for lyrical
songs, fabulous dancing, and laughs tempered by sorrow as our couple tries
to find "a place somewhere" to
share their love.
