Freesias in Whiskey

This is the third production the Heritage Players have presented at the Pittsburgh New Works Festival. The story of a mysterious girl and a man who claims to be her father, Freesias brings the two together at the funeral of her mother. Join us for this interesting character study.

You Can't Take it With You
by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman
Three generations of off-beat family members live and laugh under one roof in this renowned comedy. When youngest garddaughter, Alice, brings her finace home to meet the family, all humor breaks loose when the free-spirited Vanderhofs meet the upper-crust would-be in-laws. Can the young lovers survive snakes, fireworks and an FBI raid? You found out at the first production of the Heritage Players' fifth season.

An evening of Merriment and Melodrama
"An Evening of Merriment and Melodrama" is a variety fundraiser that featured better than a dozen acts and the one-act melodrama The Fastest Thimble in the West. Proceeds from the $5 admission price were split evenly between the Bethel Park Fire Department and the Heritage Players educational programs.

Our Town

The classic story is set in Grover's Corners, New Hapshire, in the early 1900s, but Our Town is about any place and all places, any time and all times... and the experience of its townspeople is the universal human experience. Centering on the story of two families, the Gibbs and the Webbs, the play shows the magic in everyday life.

A Fiddler on the Roof
The beloved story of Tevye the milkman and his five - yes, five - daughters and their lives in Anatevka, Russia, at the turn of the 20th Century, this musical addresses the age-old battle between social traditions and a future on the verge of revolution.
