The Heritage Players offers a full array of theatrical training for ages 3 to 103! Whether you are just beginning or already have some experience on stage, we have the perfect class for you at very affordable rates.

Because we are part of Bethel Park Recreation, we are able to offer small class sizes and low fees. Our Education Director, Donna Winter, has over 14 years' teaching experience and has been with Heritage since 1998, teaching both youth and adult acting classes.

Theater For Kids Classes

Let's pretend with talented Tots and a parent/guardian. Mom, Dad, Grandma or Grandpap will stay and play! WE'll sing, shake, rattle and maybe even roll. WE'll be "Wheels on the Buss," dance around the "Mulberry Bush," make a pumpkin patch, gobble like turkeys and "Ho! Ho! Ho!" around the Holidays

Let the imagination games begin! WE will play creative dram games and use music to ge comfortable on-stage. The Holiday Show play is designed for the children to have fun and experience performing for avery enthusiastic audience.

Students enrolled in this class will perform a play for the Heritage Players Holiday Show Fundraiser.

Young stars will warm-up with scarf dancing and pretend to music. A play will be chosen and rehearsals will be part of the class.

Actors will participate in theater games, improvisation and rehearse for a play for the Holiday Show.

Actors will participate in theater games to develop acting skills.

Theater on Saturdays

Students participating in this Saturday class will also be invited to be a part of the Heritage Players Holiday Show Fundraiser if they are interested.

We will use hula hoops and scarves to dance and pretend. We'll ride the school bus, roll pumpkins and gobble like turkeys. Young actors will have a chance to perform on the stage. (Parents are welcome to remain in the Adult Lounge at the center)

Young stars will warm-up with scarf dancing and pretend to music. A short skit will be chosen and rehearsed during class. Family and friends will enjoy watching the skit on the last day of class, November 18th.
