Directions to the Community Center:
From Eastern suburbs/West Mifflin area: Take Rte. 51 to Rte. 88 (Library Road) South. Continue on Library Road approximately five miles to the South Park Five-Points intersection. Take the immediate (i.e. first) right onto South Park Road (if you are coming from Baptist Road, continue straight, as Baptist becomes South Park Road). Take the second right - at the Old Schoolhouse (there's a trolley in the front yard, so you can't miss it) - onto Park Road. Continue to the first stop sign; the BPCC is on the right.
- From Pittsburgh: Take the Liberty Tubes south on Rte. 19. Continue
approximately eight miles (through Dormont, Mt. Lebanon and into Bethel
Park). Turn left onto Ft. Couch Road (at South Hills Village). Get into
left-hand lane once you've passed under the T-tressel (there's a McDonalds
on the left) and turn left onto Bethel Church Road. Take Bethel Church
Road to Rte. 88 (Library Road) and turn right. Continue as above at South
Park Five-Points intersection.
- From points south: Take Rte. 19 north to Fort Couch Road (next to South
Hills Village). Continue as above.
- From north and west: Take I79 South, towards Washington. Exit at Bridgeville. Turn right at light (directions are the same if you are coming from the south, on I79 North), into middle lane. At Washington Pike (first intersection), turn left from the middle lane (the right-hand left turn lane; there are two left turn lanes). Take first right onto Chartiers Street. At stop sign, jag left and go straight onto Lesnett. Go approx. 2 miles through residential neighborhood. At first light, turn right onto McLaughlin Run Road. After approx. 1 mile, McLaughlin Run becomes East McMurray. Stay on McMurray for three lights. At third light (you will pass St. Louise's on your right just before the third light), turn left onto South Park Road. Go approx. 2 miles; cross over the T-tracks and go up the hill. As you get to the top of the hill, you will see the Schoolhouse on your left (trolley car in front). Turn left at the schoolhouse, onto Park Road. The Bethel Park Community Center is just ahead on your right.
